Second Annual Golden Grow Awards & Hemp Forum

The Golden Grow Awards presents its second edition, celebrating the Northwest’s 2020 hemp harvest! Featuring fine craft cultivars from across the region, the GGA strikes a keynote for excellence in high-quality, cannabinoid-rich smokable hemp flower. The second edition is excited to include CBG flowers to this year’s competition as well as CBD.

With the goal of educating the industry and public about quality hemp flower, the GGA awards cultivars on cannabinoid potency, terpenes, physical characteristics and overall presentation. All entries will be evaluated by our expert judges’ panel and independently tested by Greenleaf Labs.

The 2021 Golden Grow Awards will be held at the Ashland Hills Hotel in Ashland, OR on January 30, from 11 AM to 6 PM. The event will be held in accordance with CDC Covid-19 safety guidelines and will be livestreamed via megatron technology.

In addition to the hemp flower exhibit, top industry professionals will present key topics for the 2021 seed-to-sale cycle.

– 12 PM: Courtney Moran (OIHFA, AgHS) “2021 Hemp Legislative Environment”
– 1 PM: Erik Larson (Hemp Geo Institute) “Monetizing Cannabinoids through Vertical Integration”
– 2 PM: Peter Gendron (Omnibudsman Enterprises) “Ten Commandments for a Winning Cup Entry”
– 3 PM: Seed Panel with Emily Gogol (Infinite Tree) & Justin Tombe (Phytonyx)
– 4 PM: Economic Outlook for 2021 with Damian Moran, Alex Bizeau and Justin Botillier
– 5 PM The Second Annual Golden Grow Awards Ceremony & talk with judges and winners
