The inaugural Imperial County Hemp Summit & Expo will take place September 2019. The Imperial County is an opportune region for industrial hemp, with affordable and abundant land and water, multiple growing cycles a year, optimal climate and regional incentive opportunities. The event is hosted by Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation and the County of Imperial. The two-day event will include a full day of informative panels led by hemp industry professionals discussing:

Local opportunities and resources of Imperial County
Best farming practices and equipment
Understanding local, state and federal legislation and compliance
Manufacturing & processing options

Friday, September 27, 2019: Summit will include Breakfast, Opening Speakers, Expo, Panels, Luncheon and Networking Reception

Saturday, September 28, 2019: will include Regional Tours followed by a second day of the Expo that will be open to the public for networking, sampling, shopping & entertainment.
