About Allison Justice, PhD

Allison Justice co-owns and manages all operations at The Hemp Mine, a 40-acre hemp farm that manufactures a wide array of consumer-ready products, from smokeable flower to tinctures of different concentrations for both humans and animals. These products are sold in more than 1,500 retail stores across the Southeastern US. Justice also owns a large-scale hemp CBD extraction facility, SC Botanicals, in her home state of South Carolina.

Justice holds a PhD in Plant and Environment Science from Clemson University. She is the former VP of Cultivation for OutCo LLC., a vertically integrated cannabis producer in San Diego, CA. Dr. Justice is also an integral voice on the California Industrial Hemp Advisory Board and SC Farm Bureau, helping to advise on industry policy and regulation. In 2017, she was named one of the top “40 Under 40 in Cannabis” by Marijuana Venture Magazine. In 2018, City Beat named Justice one of “San Diego’s Most Important People.”
