What it Takes to Start and Own a CBD Company

Welcome to September Cannabis Professionals!

This month we will be learning the in’s and out’s of owning a CBD products company with Alex Corren of Hempower Nutrition! Come learn how a CBD focused company differs in operations and legality from those that feature psychoactive Cannabis.

Alex Corren is CEO and Founder of Hempower Nutrition. He has a background in ecological design, sustainable food production, alternative healing modalities, and Cannabis science. His experience with the Cannabis plant ranges from biodynamic outdoor cultivation to supercritical CO2 hemp extraction. His passion for health and the environment translates into his approach to business and product development.

Hempower Nutrition makes innovative CBD products. In an industry dominated by tinctures, salves, and vapes, Hempower stands out with products based around full-spectrum, water-soluble CBD powder. They incorporate their hemp-CBD powder into a unique capsule product, as well as a line of delicious powdered drink blends that contain other beneficial herbs. After steadily expanding into natural food stores in the Colorado area, Hempower is preparing to expand into a national grocery chain in October.

Once again, we will be at the Boulder Riverside at 6:30pm. There is no Cannabis consumption allowed at this event, so please respect our lovely venue.

Parking is available and free after 7pm in the small lot on the North West corner of Arapahoe and Broadway next to Mustard’s Last Stand. Additional parking can be found in the Boulder Public Library parking lot a couple blocks west on Arapahoe past Broadway.
